Our Fall game is set! (Weather pending) For those who are interested in attending, please note that you can come any time between 3 and 11.
Costs are as follows:
Gun rental/mask/air/500 paintballs/field admission - $20 (subtraction of mask and/or air does not reduce this package price)
500 paintballs/field admission - $15
Each additional bag of 500 paintballs - $15

Field Admission Only - $5
Bring your own gear plus a gun to loan - FREE (If you borrow a gun that someone else brought, you will not be charged for it by Runnells Paintball)
Please note that in order to play, you need a working .68 caliber paintball marker with a velocity below 300fps, a sufficient mask that covers entire face and ears, air (CO2), field admission, and .68 caliber paintballs in acceptable condition. We only have a limited number of rental guns available, so please RSVP asap. You must have admin approval to attend this game. OPENING GAMES!!!!!
We'll be hosting the "official" opening games for Runnells Paintball very soon! There will be an evening series of games, including a Scenario Game, on Monday, May 24, 2010 starting at 6pm. For those daring enough, there will also be a night scenario game when it gets dark!!! We'll also have games on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 starting at 11am until 4pm.

Detailed Description of Runnells Paintball
HISTORY
Runnells Paintball was founded on November 4, 2009, by Ryan Hudson of Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Alex and Crystal Parsons, of Altoona, Iowa, are the Co-Founders of the group. As of March 30, 2010, the group is still simply an organization and not a business. The primary purpose of the organization is to attract persons to the sport of paintball around the Des Moines Metro area and to build a suitable course on which to partake in the sport.
The construction of the course began in the spring of 2008, in land owned by Paul and Martha Robinson of Runnells, Iowa. There were a few barricades put up as wel as some paths that were cleared. The field was used very sparingly. More construction took place in the spring and summer of 2009 with several more barricades and additions to the field. One game of 7 participants took place in June of 2009, and construction took place from time to time that summer. In November of 2009, construction took off as more materials and time were given to the field. As of March 30, 2010, there are approximately 30 barricades on the field with materials to build at least 10 more.
THE FIELD
The field belonging to Paul and Martha Robinson lies about 1/4 mile behind their residence of 4570 104th Street in Runnells, Iowa. The owners, who are the parents of Co-Founder Crystal Parsons, have graciously allowed use of the field. It is a wooded area with a small creek running through, and surrounded by cropland. The woods themselves are narrow at the eastern end and widen out to the wesern end, covering the area of about 1 1/2 acres, at the GPS Coordinates of 41.539755, -93.390988. The field is accessible by foot and four-wheeler transportation, which provides some limitations for the transportation of players and equipment. Construction is going strong and expected to be completed by the end of April, 2010.
THE FOUNDERS AND ORGANIZATION
Ryan Hudson, Alex Parsons, and Crystal Parsons are dedicated to the construction of the field as well as the organization of general, scenario, and tournament games. The organization is dedicated to providing a safe, interesting, unique, and enjoyable series of games in the years to come. The goal is to expand the popularity of Runnells Paintball to the point of making it a self-sustaining business some day.
All progress of the organization is being documented online and is available for public viewing as well as social networking to bring players together. Progress of construction and organizational development, as well as dates for events and games, can be found on this site and on Facebook at the following link:
